STI Electronics, Inc.’s Pat Scott Is Recognized with Two Distinguished Committee Service Award at the IPC APEX Expo
 
STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training services, electronic and industrial distribution, analytical and failure analysis, prototyping, and small- to medium-volume PCB assembly, announces that Pat Scott has been awarded two IPC Distinguished Committee Service Awards.  The awards were presented to Pat  by IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries® on behalf of the PCB and EMS industries, their suppliers and customers during the 2012 IPC APEX exhibition and conference.
 
Pat received the first award for her contributions to the development of the IPC-HDBK-001E, Handbook and Guide to Supplement J-STD-001. The second award was presented in appreciation and recognition of her contributions to the development of optional hands on training for the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Technical Training Program and the IPC/WHMA-A-620AS Space Addendum Training and Certification Course.
 
Pat is the Director of Training Services for STI Electronics, Inc. She joined STI’s training team in January 2001, coming from Electronics Training Advantage (ETA) as Director of Training. Pat has 20 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, technical instruction and instructional systems development.Pat gained her experience at Hughes Aircraft Co., Soldering Technology Training Facility (China Lake), and the Electronics Manufacturing Productivity Facility (EMPF). Pat is accredited by the IPC as a Master Instructor for IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC 7711/21.
