STI’s Jack Harris to Co-Chair Free Technical Session during SMTA International
 
MADISON, AL — September 2012 — STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training services, electronic and industrial distribution, analytical and failure analysis, prototyping, and small- to medium-volume PCB assembly, announces that Jack Harris will Co-Chair a free technical session at the upcoming SMTA International Conference and Expo, scheduled to take place October 16-17, 2012 at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, FL. The session titled “Throughput, Lifespan and Partnering” will take place Wednesday, October 17 from 9:30 – 11a.m. in Exhibit Hall Theatre 4.
 
The session is designed for planners, industrial engineers, quality managers, engineering managers and purchasing staff. Attendees will come away with new knowledge in three areas of parts management: 1) A very cost effective and easy to learn tool for shop floor optimizing; 2) Managing products with a 15-year life span using semiconductor parts available for only five years and; 3) Spurring growth in technology in the United States by partnering public and private resources. 
 
Jack Harris is an Outside Sales Representative for STI. Based in Dallas, TX, Jack has more than 20 years experience supporting electronics and related industries. Jack understands all aspects of sales and customer service, having owned his own company for several years, and most recently was a sales representative supporting this same area.
