STI Electronics Does Ice Bucket Challenge for Parkinson’s Research
 
MADISON, AL — September 2014 — STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training services, analytical and failure analysis, prototyping, and small- to medium-volume PCB assembly, is pleased to announce that it held an Ice Bucket Challenge fundraiser for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. STI employees raised $821 in just a few days and David Raby, President & CEO of STI, matched the employee contribution. As a result, $1,642 was donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. 
 
Mark McMeen, STI’s VP of Engineering Services commented, “We did a twist on the Ice Bucket Challenge to honor Jim Raby who has given so much to the industry, STI, and its employees specifically. The employees were excited to be able to give back to Jim by raising money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.” 
 
Diana Bradford, STI’s VP Operations/Training Resources commented, “Jim has valiantly battled Parkinson’s disease for years and continues to be quite the inspiration to everyone he comes in contact with. We want to thank Jim for all of his contributions and the employees of STI for their participation.”
