Madison Alabama (Headquarters)

Madison Alabama is home to STI’s corporate headquarters. Our history of providing training services began with Jim D. Raby. Jim has been dedicated to the subject of soldering, electronic manufacturing and training for over 50 years. After founding the NASA and military solder school systems, the Raby’s started STI in 1982.

STI’s technical and instruction staff is unsurpassed in knowledge and experience in the world of electronic assembly, solder training and specification requirements. STI’s training is recognized and utilized throughout the United States and the world.

During our training classes we not only teach the requirements of various specifications as well as the rationale behind the requirements but the majority of the classes include multiple hands-on training exercises giving the student the opportunity to apply requirements to particular skill sets. STI’s training organization quite possibly is the only one that has this extensive background and history in the world of electronic manufacturing and training.

Pat Scott is the Director of Training Services and is responsible for the operations at all our various locations.
