JOB OPENING for Master Instructor
Master Instructor Job Summary:
Instruct customer classes onsite or STI facilities. Assist Lead Master Instructor and Training Services Manager with duties as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct IPC and other STI Specific training classes for our customers.
- Prepare classrooms for weekly training and certification programs
- Review and conduct industry certification courses in a competent professional manner
- Lead instruction and facilitation of the classroom
- Lead and maintain the integrity of industry assessments for certification (exams)
- Ensure all course documentation and training reports are accurate and complete
- Design, review, and update company specific training programs as needed
- Engage and participate in development and deployment of industry recognized certification programs
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility with company funds in regard to training and travel
- Travel as assigned (generally not more than two weeks per month)
- Support customers in their onsite training initiatives
- Other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- IPC Master Instructor
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently
- Maintain Certified IPC Trainer/Master Certifications to IPC Courses (J-STD-001/Space Addendum, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620/Space Addendum, IPC-A-600 and IPC-7711/7721) as needed
- Experience in PCB soldering and rework/repair

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior Technical Training/Teaching experience in related field
- 3 years Electronic Manufacturing Experience or Military equivalent
- Current or previous IPC CIT
