JOB OPENING for Master Instructor

Master Instructor Job Summary:

Instruct customer classes onsite or STI facilities. Assist Lead Master Instructor and Training Services Manager with duties as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct IPC and other STI Specific training classes for our customers.
Prepare classrooms for weekly training and certification programs
Review and conduct industry certification courses in a competent professional manner
Lead instruction and facilitation of the classroom
Lead and maintain the integrity of industry assessments for certification (exams)
Ensure all course documentation and training reports are accurate and complete
Design, review, and update company specific training programs as needed
Engage and participate in development and deployment of industry recognized certification programs
Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrate fiscal responsibility with company funds in regard to training and travel
Travel as assigned (generally not more than two weeks per month)
Support customers in their onsite training initiatives
Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

IPC Master Instructor
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work independently
Maintain Certified IPC Trainer/Master Certifications to IPC Courses (J-STD-001/Space Addendum, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620/Space Addendum, IPC-A-600 and IPC-7711/7721) as needed
Experience in PCB soldering and rework/repair
Advanced presentation skills
