STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training, distribution, consulting, laboratory analysis, prototyping, and small- to medium-volume PCB assembly, announces that it has been listed number 3450 on the 2009 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
STI Electronics is again part of an elite group that has included companies such as Microsoft, Timberland, Intuit, Jamba Juice, Oracle, and UnderArmour. Many of today’s most successful U.S. companies received their first national recognition when they appeared on the Inc. list.
The Inc. 5000 is a comprehensive listing of the fastest growing companies in America — the economy has not slowed the growth of these 5000 companies that range across industries from construction and manufacturing to IT services and business services, for a combined revenue of $185.4 billion and 334 percent growth. The Inc. 5000 is an expansion of the Inc. 500, which Inc. introduced in 1982. The Inc. 5000 includes the Inc. 500 but digs deeper to offer the most comprehensive look at the entrepreneurial engine driving the U.S. economy.
STI Electronics has been listed on the Inc. list three times in the past. The company was number 409 in 1998, 468 in 1999, and 4675 in 2008. Their latest accomplishment of running one of the nation’s fastest growing companies in 2009 will be celebrated at the 28th Annual Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony, which will be held September 23-25, 2009 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
“I’m excited to be named on the Inc. 5000 list for our fourth time. It is the result of a great group of employees working together in a constantly changing and challenging environment. We are now in a new larger facility which will allow us to grow even faster in the foreseeable future. I’m excited about this award for our past growth but even more excited about our future,” said David Raby, President and CEO of STI Electronics, Inc.
