Madison, AL – March, 2020 –

The Wisconsin Center District in conjunction with Expo Productions Inc, confirmed postponing the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo that was scheduled for May 13 & 14, 2020 in Milwaukee, WI.

The Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo (EWPTE) is aware of and adhering to the updates from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (the CDC) to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus (Coronavirus) in the United States.

Currently they are trying to secure dates to reschedule in early Fall, 2020 working with thier partners and the area hotels to identify and pursue options to present the Expo in September.  Given the volatile nature of the pandemic’s length and severity, it is recognized that there were no spring or summer options that would both work operationally and assure the safety of the wire processing community.

This was a difficult decision, but after consulting with several members of their industry community, as well as realizing the impact of the current travel restrictions, they believe it is the right thing to do.  The EWPTE determined the best way to protect the health and safety of the attendees, speakers, and exhibitors was to postpone their annual event.  Postponing will enable sufficient time for the situation to improve and for the event to therefore run successfully for all involved.
