Wire Terminal Kit
Kit; Terminal and Wire Kits are available in varying combinations of terminal types and quantities as well as wire sizes to support certification and training requirements. The standard terminal types are Turret, Gold Cup, Pierced, Bifurcate, and Hook. The wires are all stranded and the wire sizes are easily identified by color. All of the materials are available in Lead Free as well as Tin Lead finish and they can be purchased individually or in kit form.

Through-Hole Solder Training Kit
Kit; Through-Hole Solder Training Kits are an economical and reliable way to ensure that each student and each class receives the same project materials. The kits contain a variety of common through-hole component types and wire terminal attachments that are encountered in production. Two variations in component quantities are commonly available. The recertification version of this kit has a reduced number of practice components. These kits are updated versions of the industry standard certification kits created for the Military Certification Programs. There are several additional versions of this PCB available such as Multilayer, without solder mask, without ground plane, etc. As with all of the STI Electronics Training Kits, customized versions of the kits and individual components are available.

Instructors no longer have to spend their valuable time keeping track of inventory and looking for scrap production. The parts are packaged in static shielded bags to promote ESD awareness. These SMT kits are a reliable and economical way to ensure that each student and each class receives consistent training materials. The kits contain a variety of common production Surface Mount component types and land patterns that are encountered in today's products. All of the parts are guaranteed solderable. As with all of the STI training kits, customized kits and individual parts are available.
Soldering Skill Evaluation Kit
Kit; The Soldering Skill Evaluation Kit provides an efficient way to determine the skill of a solder operator and is often used to see if additional training is needed. Companies can use this kit to screen potential employees before employment, transition operator skills from Tin Lead to Lead Free soldering, or to assess an operator for skill maintenance during employment. In addition, the kit can be used as a workmanship training project for skill evaluation or enhancement with a very low material and lost labor expense. The kit contains a sampling of Through-Hole, SMT and Wire/Terminal attachments. This kit is available in either a Lead Free or Tin Lead version.

Rework/Repair Training Kit
Kit; Solder Training Kits are required for certifying rework skill for IPC-7711/21. This kit provides two boards that are fully assembled and soldered with an additional set of component parts for removal and replacement training exercises. This kit is available in either a LEAD FREE or a Tin Lead version. The components are packaged in ESD shield bags to promote ESD awareness. Custom kits, individual boards, unassembled boards and parts are also available.
